Who are the board members of Hurricane Karting, Inc.
The board members are
Darrell Legg- President,
Al Mendez- Vice President,
Mindy Legg- Treasurer,
Donna Mendez- Secretary,
Dan Smith- Equipment Safety Director,

Are Sponsorships and Donations tax deductible
We are in the process of filing for our federal 501(c)(3) funding, as soon as we apply we are allowed to take donations, sponsorship and funding but it will not be tax deductible till we get our approval from the IRS
Are we required to be members to race
Yes, but we have temporary one day memberships available instead of the annual membership
What are the committees
The committees are volunteers that will be overseen by a board member and will help with differant aspects of the track. The Committees that we are trying to implement consist of the following: A Finance Committee that will work with our CFO and Treasurer on the budget and where we need to apply funds. A track committee that will help with preparing track and facility and making this the best. A Banquet Committee that will be overseen by Mindy and Donna and will help with all the preparations of the banquet.
What about member meetings and board meetings
Member meetings will be held monthly and is open to all members. Board meetings will also be held monthly. We figure that this is the best for the growth of our organization.
What gears are being ran at Hurricane Speedway
Most people are running 15 tooth drivers and mid 60's for the rear sprocket.
What tires are mostly being used at Hurricane Speedway
Most people are running Maxxis tires.
What engine rules are used at Hurricane Speedway
Hurricane Speedway follows AKRA and FKA engine rules.
What type of clay is on Hurricane Speedway
We are using blue gumbo and ballfield clay mixed.
